Young Girl

i don't need to tell you her pain

or anything she felt for that matter

but all you should know is that

you caused damage to an innocent soul

of a reckless young girl, who gave her all

 Its you who taught this young girl to love,

and it was you that made her feel eternal

but it was also you who destroyed her smile and

it was all you she wrote in her small red journal

All she could sing was stupid love songs

from artists like Usher and Neyo

all she said was that there would always be that 

one person who stole your heart

but that you could never see it coming 

because you were blinded from the start

And after a while, she fell comfortable

she was happy and felt free

she also told her friends about you 

and they all thought she was as happy

as she could physically be

She would be smiling in her lessons

gleaming all day long

but then came that day 

when her smile was snatched from her

It was her first, and most heartfelt love
