just my own perfect hour

When the rays of the sun glide upon the water
Making it shine and stand so still
The lake becomes my great friend,
My heart's joy,
Each and every sunset.
The blazing sun, golden orange
Kneels before the water
And sinks slowly into the depths
The rocking boats witness this magic
Of my perfect hour.
The surface of the water
Shimmers as the sun's rays
Hands it soft loving pats
The boats rock gently
Slightest ripples of water
Like a child rocking in a cradle
I sway from side to side in my boat
And like a child gazing into its mother's eyes
I am mesmerized by the setting sun.
The mellow amber and radiant orange hues
Dive into my heart, making pools of joy
My perfect hour is, snuggling in my boat
Watching the sun set on the lake.

interested in you

Be with someone who is interested in you.
Now i don't mean someone who thinks you're cute and funny.
I mean someone who wants to know every insignificant detail about you.
Someone who wants to read every word you write.
That person who wants to listen to every note of your favourite song just to feel
how you feel
and watch your favourite scene of your favourite movie so you'll have something to
laugh about when you're old
Someone who wants to learn about every scar, small or big, on your skin or in your heart,
just so they know where each of them came from
Someone who wants to know the quotes that resonate deep inside your bones.
There is a significant difference between attraction or lust and genuine interest.

In all honesty, once you have found that person, regardless of your relationship, could be just friends or a lot more than that, never ever for the sake of humanity let them go. Because its those people who will stay till the end.  They are permanent when the rest of the world is temporary.

Speaking

All i wanted was his sweet lips with clarity
I just wanted him to see the real me

Women, future and being.
Not manifestation of how much at first

Loneliness hurt, and it created an entire person.

I know that it was no accident you chose a rib;
a bone so in love it bow around his poor human heart
I do not regret forfeiting paradise for friendship, but
to weep over a halo sunrise, slowly blanketing a crippled world

I have him, now - completely
outside the doors of paradise
far away from what we really wanted
And although we are each others
we both can only see each others shivering bodies
we cannot touch, cannot hold, all huddled outside the golden gate
but yet we crave.
